On Sunday, before Mimi and Buddy headed back to Daniel Island, we went right up the road to the zoo/animal park. Kenzie had been asking numerous times to go before it "closes for the season," so we thought yesterday was the perfect day. It was another beautiful, warm day, and we had such a good time seeing all of the animals. Jack the giraffe, seen in the background above, was our favorite! Thank you Mimi and Buddy for a great weekend...we love you!

My grandmother on dad's side was Mimi. I also had a buddy named Buddy.
Now I am a member of an elite group of four that has a Mimi and Buddy in it. We are diverse, authentic and most of all committed to being the best grandparents in the world for the best grandkids in the world.
I can't think of a better team to accomplish this mission. I am both honored and humbled to be a part of it.
