Happy Birthday Seaside Lulu's

Last Thursday evening, we went to the beach to celebrate Livi (5) and Lily's (9) birthdays. Their Moms, Tovi and Melissa, did a fabulous job putting on such a fun party...no surprise there! Melissa made each birthday girl the cutest shirt that said "seaside lulu's" with a 5 for Livi and a 9 for Lily. It's so funny, Livi and I are nicknamed Lu, and now we have great friends that call Lily Lulu! Too cute (-: Anyway, I wish I had taken a picture of the sandwiches that they made. I know, why the sandwiches, right? Because each was wrapped with a strip of wax paper and a fun label! They were so yummy as was the whole spread. All the kids had a ball running around and playing games on the beach. A huge storm rolled in (after we all had cake!) so everyone packed up and headed home. We missed the 9:00 fireworks show, but that was okay...we had so much fun partying with the seaside lulu's!

What a fabulous Birthday Beach Bash. All I could think of when I saw your blog about the girls' birthday party was "Working 9 to 5". They are both so cute (and growing up soooo fast).

The classy cake is indeed classy. And, the boys, are well, boys. They are in their on little world and will stay that way forever. We boys stay on our side of the party and girls stay on theirs. Ain't life grand.

Lissi, I'll say it again. What you are capturing in words and pictures are the moments, events and thoughts that give life fabric and meaning.

We will always have a slice of of our lives captured in time as a result of your initiative, talent and creativity. Through your eyes and mind we are able to see ourselves for who we are ... wonderous gifts from somewhere out there where only our imaginations, dreams and faith can take us.

And speaking of dreams ... you are one of my greatest dreams come true. I love you ...
